- High Definition Orthorectified Imagery:
Datapix can fly custom imagery to suit your budget, ranging from close range orthophotos of small sites; up to larger scale or strip imagery of more complex sites and corridors. Typical spatial accuracies that can be achieved on a 3cm per pixel product are better than +-0.1m relative precision; and 0.3m absolute positional accuracy. The basic standard product offers sub-meter positional accuracy, +-0.1m relative precision and true 5cm pixel capture (not interpolated). Imagery can be supplied in various formats such as geo-referenced ECW, TIF, JP2 or simply plain JPG files and on common projections such as MGA94. 5 day turn-around is available, or just wait for our next scheduled flight or bundle several projects together to benefit from the compounding cost savings. We can also offer advanced image processing techniques to deliver superior results; such as pan-sharpening, super-resolution and deconvolution. We’ve devised a method of capturing oblique photos that can see under tree canopies or other obstructions; whilst the resulting imagery still has an accurate planar ortho-projection yet maximizes ground coverage: Just ask for our oblique ortho-imagery.

Our aerial photos aren’t just standard either! We can overlay your spatial information onto our imagery with pixel accurate projection (survey data or designs from AutoCad, 12D Model, Microstation etc.) – Perfect for project review, presentations, visual aid and progress reports.
The image on the left is a panchromatic oblique photo infused with photogrammetrically derived data (0.25m contours and RGB point-cloud consisting of almost 1 million colour 3D points).
